To help you navigate your invoices, we've put together a few 'how-to' steps to quickly identify billing line items.
When are invoices generated?Typically, our activity based invoices are generated at the end of each month. Flat monthly rate and location billing invoices are generated on the first of each month for the upcoming month. Customers with flat monthly rates or location billing can receive invoices dated at the end of the month if:<p></p> <ul> <li>Pricing changes during the month <ul style="list-style-type:circle"> <li>There will be a line crediting the initial billing for the period as well as a rebill, if applicable, at the updated pricing for the same period</li> </ul> </li> <li>Installs or de-installs take place for location billing <ul style="list-style-type:circle"> <li>There will be a line crediting the initial billing for the period as well as a rebill, if applicable, at the updated quantity for the same period</li> </ul> </li> <li>Additional container/services are triggered for flat rate customers</li> </ul>
What is location billing?<p>Location billing is the billing of containers based on the quantity installed as opposed to the activity. The billing should be consistent month to month unless there is a change in the pricing or container quantity.</p>
What does the Date column represent on my invoice?Activity billing will display the service date, while period will display the date invoiced.
Why do I have a manifest on my current invoice that was also billed on a previous invoice?<p>This is a common occurrence for activity billing when services are provided towards the end of each month. Containers are billed as the plant processes the waste and scale tickets are generated; if containers are processed in two different billing cycles this situation will occur. Service charges and containers on dropoff are billed when the billing cycle the route is closed; routes cannot be closed until all manifests on the route are processed. This can cause a delay in certain manifest billings.</p>
What do the type and description fields on my invoice mean?

How do I access the manifest online?<p>To access manifests online, click on the 'login' button at the top right corner of the website and select 'manifest access' </p> <p>Use your login information to sign in leaving Domain as "Local FileHold account". If login information is unknown, please contact <a href="mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org">email@example.com</a>.</p> <p>Once logged in, you will see a Document Tray on the left panel. Open: Library > US Manifests > [Servicing Plant]. You will then see your site(s) folder(s). Click on the folder to view the manifests.</p> <p>To download, check the box to the left of the manfiest and select "Get a Copy" at the top. The manifest will download to your designated download folder.</p>
