Medical & Biohazardous Waste Disposal in Pittsburgh
We all have Pittsburgh to thank for helping us grow up to be a little more neighborly. Fred Rogers of Mister Roger’s Neighborhood was a long-time resident of Pittsburg and first produced the program at a local television station. Daniels Health is glad to be your neighbor.
Also known as the “City of Bridges,” Pittsburgh boasts over 400 bridges. Being at the junction of three rivers adds to the need for all these structures. However, Pittsburg was pivotal in the golden age of the US steel industry. By 1911, the city produced more than half the nation’s steel. It’s all starting to make sense why their NFL football team is called “The Steelers.”
Other points of gilded fame for the city include the Carnegie Museum of Natural History and the Carnegie Museum of Art. Would you guess that Pittsburgh was the place to go to see a lot of Andy Warhol’s work? Maybe not, but he was Pittsburgh born and raised – there is now an entire Andy Warhol museum. We also have the city to thank for Heinz ketchup; a success that has continued to grow and is now the sponsor of the local football field.
Beyond our love of innovation and art, we’re passionate about healthcare, and this is where our story begins.
Pittsburgh Healthcare Waste Management with a difference.
Change is scary but necessary. When Daniels came to the US healthcare waste sector over 30 years ago – we saw that people were still using outdated healthcare waste management solutions for modern problems. We knew we had to introduce a paradigm shift that put the focus on medical waste management driven through solutions that minimize infection risk, injuries, and other occupational hazards. Through clinician-feedback and engineering, we brought reusable containers into the healthcare space that were scientifically proven to reduce injuries. The Daniels’ systems include over 20 safety features from ergonomic handles to impenetrable plastic to overfill protection. If you want modern solutions, it doesn’t get any more scientifically modern than Daniels Health. As a full healthcare management partner, we deliver the industry's safest containers for Pittsburgh healthcare facilities with premium disposal and treatment services.
