Medical & Biohazardous Waste Disposal in Macon
Macon is situated in the very center, or the heart of, Georgia – it is a beautiful city famous as the “cherry blossom capital of the world.” Each year over 300,000 Yoshina Cherry trees bloom, turning the city into an other-worldly landscape of snowing pink petals; this is only the beginning of what makes Macon magical to us.
Life in Macon is built largely around the history of Native American land the city now sits on. Our favorite place to go to remember the past of the area is Ocmulgee Mounds National Historic Park; here we can witness and be reminded of the millennia of southeast native American culture that thrived around 1,000 A.D. before it was later colonized. The preservation of natural resources and parks is something Georgians value deeply and we support as a sustainably focused healthcare partner.
One thing we were surprised to learn when we began doing business in Macon, was that it was home to the Allman Brothers Band Museum! It’s a little quirky spot but who doesn’t love the song, “Ramblin’ Man?” The museum is also the band's former home when they lived in the city – showcasing memorabilia from the band and other items from the history of classic rock. Once you finish at the museum you can easily stroll down the streets, pass through the college campuses, and continue enjoying the cherry blossoms in bloom.
Beyond our love of the history in Macon, we are passionate about healthcare, and this is where our story begins.
Macon Healthcare Waste Management with ecology.
The US healthcare waste sector has been saturated with unsustainable solutions for too long. Daniels Health understood that clinicians deserved better options for how they handled and disposed of all healthcare waste. Through extensive research and development, Daniels created a waste management system that was driven by sustainability and safety – reusable solutions that were proven to reduce the risk of injury and infection. Our containers are designed with leakproof seals, impenetrable plastic, and overfill protection. When facilities opt in for our system, they no longer have to purchase single-use plastic containers that will ultimately end up in a landfill. As a full healthcare waste management partner, we also provide regulatory guidance that supports the unique needs of every-sized healthcare facility across the nation.
