Medical & Biohazardous Waste Disposal in Denver

Where do you think has more sunshine: Denver or Miami? Denver, Colorado proudly boasts 300 days of sunshine a year – which surprisingly is more than Miami. Maybe we’ve been planning our warm-weather vacations all wrong?

At an impressive 5,280 ft, exactly one mile, above sea level sits Denver. This city has easily become one of the most talked about places to move or visit over the last ten years. With a growing tech industry and strong roots in sustainability, it is a hub for innovation. One of the most famous inventions of Denver is the cheeseburger. In 1935, Louis Ballast of the Humpty Dumpty Drive-In was awarded the trademark for his cheeseburger creation. The first Chipotle was also opened in Denver in 1993. We really have this city to thank for a lot of our favorite foods, don’t we?

Much like it’s neighboring city, Colorado Springs, if you hopped in a time machine and went back to Denver in the early 1800s you wouldn’t find much. No one really moved here until around 1858 when a gold rush brought people in from all over. Rumor has it that the very first building put up in Denver was a saloon. We find Denver to be delightfully eclectic in all its history and what it offers. It’s also very friendly for those of us who are not athletically inclined – due to the high altitude, baseballs hit or thrown fly 10% farther than normal.

Aside from our love of all the quirks of Denver, we are passionate about healthcare, and this is where our story begins.

Denver Healthcare Waste Management with a difference.

Daniels Health came to the US healthcare waste sector over 35 years ago to revolutionize how we approach healthcare waste management. We wanted to put the spotlight on safety, sustainability, education, and efficiency. Each of our premium reusable containers are designed with over 20 safety features derived from clinician feedback – we listened to you and built your dream safety solution. The Daniels containers are built with impenetrable plastic, leakproof seals, and inbuilt locking systems for your protection. In addition to our standard reusable containers, we also offer our Access Plus models. Seen to the right is our Sharpsmart Access Plus sizes. The main difference in these models and our standard containers, is they do not have the tilt-tray at the opening. This makes the Access Plus containers ideal for secured locations where sharps are being disposed of and where patients or the public can’t access. Call us today to learn how the Sharpsmart Access Plus can reduce your total waste volume and increase efficiencies.
