Medical & Biohazardous Waste Disposal in Tampa
Located near the Gulf of Mexico, Tampa has the largest port in the state. Tampa is known as “Cigar City” because it was the cigar capital of the world by 1900 and still maintains that fame today. There are healthier sides of Tampa that deserve to be highlighted too.
Being a port city, Tampa has historical ties to pirates and athletic ones since it’s home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Our favorite swashbuckling thing that happens in Tampa is the annual Gaspiralla Pirate Festival. Each year our local servicing plant members and drivers look forward to the festivities surrounding mythical Spanish pirate José Gaspar. How can you miss out on the parade downtown that symbolizes the invasion and conquest of the city? It can get crowded with an average of 300,000 attendees but we never regret it.
If you’re not much of a seafaring adventurer, we enjoy going to the many different zoos in Tampa. ZooTampa at Lowry Park is a frequent trip for the families of our Orlando servicing plant teams. Seeing how hard this park works to rescue and rehabilitate animals reminds our Daniels team members why we work so hard to protect the environment from healthcare waste pollution. With the proximity to natural water sources and such a large population, Daniels is happy to provide compliant and safe healthcare waste disposal for the area.
Beyond our love of pirates, parades, and preventing pollution, we are also passionate about healthcare.
Tampa Healthcare Waste Management with a difference.
Daniels Health came to the US healthcare waste sector with two initiatives in mind to improve: safety and sustainability. Why were healthcare faculties using the same disposable methods for healthcare waste that added to landfills and occupational injury? The vision of making healthcare safer for those who deal with it every day is what lead to our reusable medical waste containers—feedback from clinicians went into each design and feature. Our radically different containers provided medical waste management through solutions that minimized needlestick injuries, reduced the risk of infection, and occupational hazards. Sleekly designed, each of our reusable systems come with impenetrable plastic and leakproof seals. Choose a full healthcare waste management partner that cares about your safety and the environment of Tampa.
